We are making great strides in improving the health and well being of our students through the
Alliance For Healthier Generation. Through the initiative schools have increased physical activity,
promoted healthier life styles and improved eating habits for students and staff. Each school in the
system was named a Silver Medal winner by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. This
prestigious award was presented in New York City this past July. Former President Bill Clinton was
be the first in history to not out live the previous generation. We refuse to allow that to happen in
Perry County.
Our students have been able to leave the school system and attend colleges across this country in
the careers of their choice and successfully complete their degrees.
Our schools are staffed with caring, committed and well prepared teachers and support staff. The
question we constantly ask ourselves is what would I want for my own child?
We believe that there is a genius that exist within every child and that as educators it is our
responsibility to find ways to bring that genius out of each child. Our commitment to you is that we
will measure our success one child at a time until we have found a way to unleash that genius in
every child. Our work remains undone.
If your child is enrolled in our school system you can be assured we are striving to provide them a
high quality education that will prepare them academically, morally and socially for a successful
